Barolo D.O.C.G.
The intense garnet red colour of Barolo brings a summer sunset to mind. Its bouquet tells of the freshest fruits with a touch of dusky spice and the occasional scent of truffle. The flavour is long, smooth and balanced. This wine is the perfect companion for roasts, zesty appetizers, highly seasoned pasta dishes, cheeses, wild game, stews and grilled meats.
Dolcetto d'Alba D.O.C.
A friendly fruit flavour and youthful fragrance are the defining qualities of this wine. Its ruby red colour can at times have violet shades. Its taste is full and balanced, with a final note of almond as it is swallowed. Dolcetto is suitable for all meals and for all courses of the meal, but its features stand out when served with simple, lightly seasoned dishes.
Barbera d'Alba D.O.C.
The colour of Barbera is a deep reddish purple, rich in vibrant tones. Its bouquet is redolent of fruits and flowers: peaches, apples and wild flowers. Its flavour is full bodied and well structured, with acid levels that help it age well. It accompanies fried foods, boiled dinners, ripe cheeses and the traditional bagna càuda, a rich anchovy and garlic fondue.
Canebbio® Langhe D.O.C.
Canebbio is rightfully numbered among the greatest of piedmontese red wines. Its colour of mellow red garnet shades out to burnt orange near the sides of the glass. Its taste is full and long, smooth and balanced, harmonious and roundly structured, with a final slight bitter note which sets off its bouquet and warm tones. Canebbio is a regal companion for red meat, game, roast braised or grilled meat, as well as for cheese dishes.
Galverno® Langhe D.O.C.
Thanks to months of careful aging in oak barrels, or caratelli, Galverno becomes dry but velvety, developing a characteristic and unmistakeable bouquet. Its colour is a ruby red with important oranges echoes, its full fragrance mixes fruits and flowers. Galverno is a versatile wine that suits any meal. Its best setting is with risotto, ham and salami, raw meat, white meat and cheese dishes.
Chiamblò®
Chiamblò is light purple red, with frequent violet echoes. Its fragrance calls wild flowers to mind, with hints of cherry, apple and fresh peach, and its taste is a full harmony of these elements, with just the right touch of youthful aggressivity. Chiamblò goes best with hors d'oeuvre or light food. It is an excellent starter for a meal, and it graces meat and fish very well.
Rabel®
Rabel is straw yellow in colour with highlights of intense green. Its flavour is full and complex; its perfumes are individual and intense. Rabel is fruity, dry, and pleasantly acidic, with persistent notes of aromatic herbs and wild flowers combined with delicate citrus aromas. It goes well with cheeses, vegetable soups, and salami. In short, Rabel is an excellent aperitif.
2005 Petite Sirah
The 2005 Petite Sirah from 2 vineyards on the west side of Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County, exhibits a luscious ink-color with fruit-driven aromas of blackberry, blueberry and a hint of raspberry.
The intense flavors follow true to the nose with a touch of cola, black pepper and a lingering finish of warm vanilla and dark chocolate.
The concentrated varietal fruit, combined with well-integrated tannins, produces a full supple wine.
This wine will complement grilled steak, barbecued ribs or tomato-based pasta dishes.
